Angus Willoughby is a Research Assistant at PREMT and a final year student in the Juris Doctor programme at Melbourne Law School. Angus has a BA from the University of Western Australia, with majors in international relations and political science. Angus has worked with Dr Rain Liivoja and Prof Tim McCormack since commencing his studies at Melbourne Law School. Angus and Rain collaborated on a biotechnology paper in PREMT’s recent research project with the Defence Science and Technology Group. Angus undertook a visiting scholarship at the College of International Security Affairs at the National Defense University in Washington, DC. Currently, Angus is conducting research into biometric technologies and their application in the surveillance context. In 2016, Angus commenced the Master of Law programme at the University of Cambridge.
